The West Clermont school project consisted of two K-5 elementary schools, Summerside and Willowville, and was constructed under a single prime contract with the OFCC, achieving LEED Silver certification. The schools set the standard in its county of high-quality, spacious learning areas that are safe, secure, and technologically advanced within a budget-conscience district.

The mirrored buildings gave them a contemporary curb appeal while keeping construction costs down by bundling materials and subcontracts. This allowed the district to capitalize on the amount of funds available. Improved traffic flows in the adjacent neighborhoods were achieved by setting the building further back from the road and expanding the parking lots, allowing bus and student pick-up traffic to flow smoothly.
