The 107,000 SF fit-out for Crossroads Community Church transformed an old paper mill into a worship center with a 2,000-seat auditorium, kid’s club ministry, chapel, atrium, classrooms, and office space. Honoring the building’s first life, the design preserved a number of original details such as exposed brick and beams. Crossroads met in a middle school for six years before taking up residence in the former home of International Paper Company. The original train loading crane is still housed in their atrium.
